stacy king (of the band eisley - remember them??) has been consistently putting out banger albums under her solo act, sucré. it absolutely boggles the mind how little attention this work has gotten, given stacy's bona fides. she's one of our greatest vocalists and songwriters, and the production work here is equal parts ethereal and brutal. this album is largely about the death of her mom a few years ago, so i guess trigger warning for dead mom stuff.
favorite tracks: mid-july, head out the window, raise hell, bloody
